Video filmed with GPS data on the audio track can be incorporated into mapping programs, such as ArcGIS or Google Earth for interactive mapping display. Clicking on the flight path starts the video playing at that location. 

GPS video is used for utility and infrastructure inspections and catalogs, as well as B-roll logging for TV production. This automated process of coordinating video with its location on a map is extremely valuable to project managers.
